About the job
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, driven sales leader to join our team and engage current and future clients to drive growth. This position will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer as an senior individual contributor working independently across the organization and with our strategic partners. We're looking for a high-performance sales and business development consultant who will generate recurring revenue for our cloud-based operational kitchen / foodservice workflow platforms. This full-lifecycle sales role will proactively source and develop leads, qualify opportunities and engage team members in solution development leading the sales process from discovery and proposal through closing.
The Ideal Background:
Demonstrated success selling technology and managed solutions with annual quotas of $500K - $1M and a proven record of influencing, negotiating, and closing sales on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
A strategic sales professional with proven ability to develop and deliver persuasive product presentations and close business through logical, incremental steps. Ideally, this experience would be with a business that offers complex solutions, involving both hardware and software (SaaS).
Possess an outstanding track record and reputation for achieving sales goals particularly introducing new solutions to the marketplace.
Mentally agile, professionally dynamic, with a love for "hunting" and developing new business opportunities. Comfortable working in a start-up environment, creating processes and operating in times of ambiguity.
Solid understanding of the need to utilize CRM in an effective way to follow consultative and key insight sales processes, manage pipeline, and create accurate forecasts
Exceptional presentation and listening skills
You understand restaurant operations (you’re a restaurant person) and have previous experience selling software and outsourcing solutions, preferably in the restaurant / hospitality / foodservice industry involving point-of-sale, online ordering, kitchen display systems, or similar solutions
Proficient using Microsoft Office and Google business applications
Experience leveraging sales CRM solutions to manage your pipeline
Organized and methodical in managing your contacts, follow-up and closing
